Antoine Louis

Portrait of Antoine Louis

I’m Antoine, a 29-year-old computer scientist born and raised in the wooded hills of the Belgian Ardennes.

I work to solve challenging problems through technology. I hold a PhD in Computer Science from Maastricht University, the youngest and most international university in the Netherlands, also recognized as one of the best young universities in the world. I used to do research at the intersection of AI and law. My research focused on curating datasets and developing deep learning models to help people answer common legal questions and improve access to legal information.

Now, I’m honing my skills as a founder at cedie.fr, while tinkering with side projects and occasionally sharing my thoughts through writing.

When I’m not working, I’m likely traveling or reading. So far, I’ve visited 30 wonderful countries that have only strengthened my desire to discover new cultures and regions. I mainly read nonfiction, I suppose to satisfy my curiosity about all the different ways people live, think, and grow.
