I’m starting a PhD in Computer Science at Maastricht University (ranked 6th in THE Young University Ranking 2020).

I will work on Machine Learning (ML) for law with the goal of developing models that provide vulnerable persons (such as victims, social media users, children, and consumers) from being unprotected or exploited due to their lack of legal knowledge.

Being able to conduct scientific research in ML to contribute in helping vulnerable people deal with their legal issues is an opportunity that is close to my heart and that I couldn’t miss. That is why I’ve decided to dedicate the next four years of my life to this project. Let the research start!
